Olives off the net

This scorpion had the audacity to crawl across our kitchen floor before the espresso finished steaming; therefore, it is flatter than it ought to be.

This is Valerio, the farm manager at Valle di Mezzo. Thorpe and he spent many hours working together over the six weeks, and they took a little fishing trip before the Moeckels left for Venice.

We attended an evening of chorale
in the church at Anghiari. There were groups from several towns. Lovely Italian songs. There was one song in English. A group from Trentino did a medley with “dees eetle light of mine.”
